She has also written more than 300 travel destination and land resort articles since the 1980s, ranging from reviews of family resorts to top ski peaks. Her columns prior to the Shipping News in the Toronto Star were called Ski News, Taking the Kids and Close to Home. She’s also had more than 50 advertising supplements in enRoute, Maclean’s, Canadian Business, Profit, Chatelaine and Canadian Living magazines.

In 2013, she was Managing Editor, Special Features for Metro News (10 city newspapers across Canada with a circulation of 1.6 million readers) managing 17 reporters across the country. From 2000 to 2012, she was Editor-in-Chief of CAA Leisureways and Journey travel magazines (circulation 1.2 million readers), as well as several other national magazines such as Select Homes & Food, City Parent, Royal Airlines, Ideal Home, as well as the Globe and Mail‘s Real Estate section.

Cruising is her travel passion since it’s such a fun and easy way to see the world. She has been on 67 cruises and visited 45 countries and is eager to provide you with cruise inspiration and information for experiences that will enrich your life with wonderful memories.
