AIDAsol makes the prelude and on 16 October 2021 sails from/to Hamburg to the 40-day journey “large Caribbean winter break”. With this offer, Caribbean lovers can travel to the warmth and back for the first time without a flight – and from their own front door.

The journey goes from Hamburg over France (Cherbourg), Spain (La Coruna) and the Canaries (Tenerife) to the most beautiful Caribbean islands.

AIDA Cruises is sending four ships to the Caribbean for the 2021/2022 winter season and for around 12 days AIDAsol stays in the Caribbean and visits Barbados, Castries on St. Lucia, the A-B-C islands and St. Maarten, before heading back to Europe.

On the way back, visits to Portugal (Ponta Delgada and Lisbon) and France (Le Havre) are on the agenda.

AIDA Cruises is sending four ships to the Caribbean for the 2021/2022 winter season and a special highlight is that there will be again performances by the AIDA Show Ensemble with its own singers and dancers on board AIDAsol. Guests can also look forward to the popular participatory shows “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and “Voice of the Ocean”.

Two more 43-day AIDAsol voyages from/to Hamburg to the Caribbean with departure dates on November 25, 2021, and January 7, 2022, are on the schedule.

Guests on the first voyage will spend New Year’s Eve in Lisbon with a unique view of the Portuguese capital.

AIDAluna will follow on October 18, 2021, taking its guests from Kiel to the Caribbean summer.

AIDAdiva will depart from Warnemünde on October 26, 2021, and AIDAperla will cast off from the Canary Islands for the Caribbean on November 6, 2021.

All three AIDA ships will travel the diverse world of the Caribbean on different, varied routes between November 2021 and March 2022:

  • For guests on board AIDAdiva, the 14-day voyage will take them from La Romana, Dominican Republic, to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and to Samaná and Tortola in the Virgin Islands. In Mexico stays on Cozumel and along the Mexican Riviera in Costa Maya are on the program. Here the guests can dive into the sunken cultures of the Maya. Powder-white dream beaches await guests on St. Maarten and on St. Kitts and Nevis, the sister islands of the Lesser Antilles.
  • On board AIDAluna, from/to La Romana/Dominican Republic, guests experience paradisiacal 14-day voyages with beautiful Caribbean destinations, such as the A-B-C and Virgin Islands. Furthermore, calls at Antigua, an island surrounded by coral reefs, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Maarten are on the program.
  • The voyage with AIDAperla from/to La Romana/Dominican Republic or from/to Bridgetown/Barbados takes the guests not only to the A-B-C Islands but also to the Lesser Antilles. Tropical rainforests, port cities with colonial charm and a breathtaking underwater world are among the highlights of this 14-day Caribbean cruise.

A far-reaching health concept is implemented on all voyages, including a COVID-19 test before departure for all guests and the AHA rules that apply on board. In addition, for the Caribbean voyages of AIDAdiva, AIDAluna, AIDAperla and AIDAsol, full vaccination protection is a requirement for all guests to travel.

In all Caribbean ports, AIDA Cruises offers an extensive organized excursion program – from the “Come ashore” excursion at a discovery price to the deluxe package.

In addition, guests on Caribbean voyages in winter 2021/2022 will again have the opportunity to go ashore individually in numerous destinations. A detailed list with information on the conditions in the ports of call can be found at http://www.aida.de/urlaubskompass.
